hardly. by their own "census" it is far less, and needless to say citing a bigger figure includes the illegal settlers from Turkey, and the Army, in her design of making Cypriots, whether Greek or Turkish, subject to their terms.
@ Mr. Eroglu, why not stand-up for the Federal Republic as a Cypriot, ask, where is the Greek Constituency if there is a Republic and a Turkish Constituency? is Cyprus a Greek State, because the vast majority of its History and Population are Greek? or, is there a Cypriot State, because not as Persons, but as Individuals its Citizens stand united toward defending Universal Principals?
Territorial Jurisdictions could be settled as an internal matter; Bicommunal means an indivisible whole having parts (at least three governing bodies, if not one), it cannot mean simply dividing the island in two. Bizonal, as a geographic context is the same.

Cyprus :: Holy Mackerel, i just spoke to a sparrow again!
Cyprus :: Holy Mackerel, i just spoke to a sparrow again!

...i was just reminded by a fruit fly of a lovely experience i shared today at work.
...you see, at first i went to wave it away, the fruit fly, it became as agressive. i stopped because i remembered, the way, suffering Peace if you will, never letting that fly out of my sight, though still loving, waiting. that bug figured it out i think, and chose to fly away.
...a lovely little sparrow found its way into the office today, where i work. alone in the office (which happens rarely) there was no one else who cared, there was no one who saw but me, so i got up from my desk, fluttered about myself, if you will with the bird, and chirped, (sounds ridiculous but ive done it before), by sheer will offering some communication of a meaning and an intent that this bird could follow, my flight, and without anymore difficulty finding its way out my door, down the corridor and out the other door;
frankly i am glad to remember that this is possible.
just had to share this with someone, cheers!

...is that the chosen can do better than this: are we not men?
For Human kind, For the wonderful gift we have that makes this planet a living thing.
we are their ally they are ours now, many benefit from this harmony but,
for the many fallen their cry remains in the fetid pools of their drinking wells.
our Race fails not us if we ignore this nature. Cypriots should lead,
by example under one God and Loving; what we could do for ourselves
that others would not do what is done without shame. Madness to
