...it is always important to remember who they were, the killers, and the murdered and made to disappear. Easy enough, the murderers were "Greeks" and "Turks". But what of their victims, not "Them", Greek and Turkish? We who remain betray them if with the same intolerance we divide ourselves against each other; if Cypriots still exist. They are forgotten as such if we decide by ignoring them as Cypriots, that "Greekness" or/and "Turkishness" matter more.
